We've been holding out on you.

We have a new baby, and she is the sweetest, most gentle little kitten. We went to the animal shelter a couple of weeks ago just to look, and she adopted us on the spot. We tried to be fair and check out the other kittens, but she climbed straight up onto Mike's shoulder, then curled up on my lap and purred her little heart out, softly but insistently staking her little claim. The other kittens all ran around like little ruffians, and we already have one of them at home.

This little angel had been at the shelter for months because cuddly little tubby black kittens are apparently not in style at the moment, and the volunteers were delighted to see her finally find a family. Poor little thing. She no longer lacks for love or a warm lap to sleep in.

I gots styrofoams on my nose.

Her name is Hope.

We are saving the world. Of warcraft. Blame South Park.

Anne's daughter, Allie, joined her mom for the background vocals on this one.

A couple of months ago the Mikestuff raided my Amazon.com wish list and bought me a a few things. I tend to use the wish list as a bookmark page of sorts, and sometimes I completely forget the stuff that I add. I'd been looking for an electric griddle similar to the one I remembered from childhood, and the Cuisinart Griddler was pretty darn close- only better, but as soon as I added it, it slipped my mind until it arrived in the mail.

To my surprise, I have been giving this thing a heck of a workout. So far I've used it for pancakes, turkey burgers, grilled cheese sandwiches, hamburgers and chicken, but plans are in the works for more goodies and experiments, as soon as I have duplicated or created a reasonable substitute for Carrabba's Chicken Gratella, and I am this close.

Been a long time since we posted some music. What can I say. We've been busy.

How did we ever get along without the edification that you so amply provide?

Gentle readers, Gizmo flushes, and responsible citizens respond. But, WTH?
